You can
already
sing.
A relaxed pop choir for adults in Nerja. No auditions, no sheet music, no pressure to perform — just big harmonies, songs you actually know, and a room full of people happy to see you.
How a choir night
actually goes
Ninety minutes, no homework. If you've never sung in front of anyone since school, this is built for you.
Warm up
Silly noises, loose shoulders, a bit of a laugh. Nobody sings alone.
Learn by ear
I teach your part line by line — no sheet music, no reading required.
Find your harmony
Split into parts and hear the song click into place. This is the good bit.
Full send
Run it top to bottom with everyone, then out into the Nerja evening.

Singing
lessons with
Georgie
Singing lessons are about you.
What we do is completely up to you — technique, songs, stage presence, songwriting, or just a chat about where you want to get to. We start where you are.
Singing can be scary, and singing in front of a stranger even more so. But when you walk into my studio there's nothing there but me, you and the voice.
I've taught singers from 10 to 90 — and if you think you can't do it, I'm here to tell you that you can. We all have a voice.
- 45 minutes or a full hour, online or in person in Nerja
- Range, breath, tone and stage confidence at your pace
- Bring your own songs — or I'll help you pick them
- Total beginners and nervous singers are my favourite students
Not sure where to start? Book a free phone consultation — we'll chat about what you want to achieve, and I'll help you find the right path: the choir, 1:1 lessons, or both.

Hi, I'm Georgie
Vocalist, songwriter and vocal coach based in Nerja.
I started Costa Pop Choir because singing together does something rare: it lifts you, connects you to the people beside you, and leaves you lighter than when you walked in. Since we restarted in April 2025, we've grown from a handful of voices who thought they couldn't sing into a community of singers from all over the world who now call this corner of Spain home.
That sense of ease in the room comes from technique that goes back a long way — I've been singing since I could talk, started classical training at 11, and studied Performance Vocals at ACM in Guildford. From there I toured and performed with artists including Roger Pope (Elton John's longtime drummer), Katherine Ellis and Coast, a Celtic rock band I spent years touring across Europe and the US with. I also write songs under agreement with Blue Water Music in Nashville.
For the past 15 years I've been teaching singers from all over the world — and I'm currently completing a Level 5 qualification in Creative Teaching, pairing science-backed vocal method with my classical background.
Distinctions in every Level 5 module so far. Also worked with Martyn Ford (composer/arranger), and toured with 80s bands Boys Don't Cry and ABC.
Before you
talk yourself out of it
I can't sing. Really.
Everyone says that. We all have a voice — it just needs technique and a bit of room to grow. Nobody at choir is judging you, and I've never met a voice I couldn't work with.
Do I need to read music?
No. I teach every part by ear, line by line. No sheet music appears at any point.
Am I too old for this?
I've taught singers from 10 to 90. There's no upper limit on learning to use your voice.
Can I come to choir on my own?
Most people do. Come at 7.25pm and you'll be talking to someone within five minutes.
Is there an age limit?
The choir is for adults, 18 and over. One-to-one singing lessons are open to all ages — I teach from 10 upwards.
When does the term run?
We run from 22 September through to December, every Tuesday. Lessons carry on year round.
Will I have to perform?
Only if you want to. We sing at local events through the year, and plenty of members never perform and love choir just as much.
What happens in a first lesson?
We talk about what you want, do a gentle warm-up, and try a little singing so I can hear your voice. No audition, no pressure, and nothing you have to prepare.
